K. Lee Manuel (1936 - 2003) is a published and listed artist, who appeared in numerous museum shows here and abroad during her lifetime. An entire section of several pages devoted to her leather work, suede garments, and feather collars can be found in Julie Schafler Dale's definitive tome "Art To Wear" (1986 Cross River Press LTD. / Abbeville Press). K Lee Manuel is a permanent part of the American Craft Museum's collection, and on display at the Tampa Museum of Art. Geisha Kimono, 1982, is in the permanent collection at the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
