Jerome Michaels' first introduction to concrete fabrication came during his years working in construction. He was fortunate to be involved with several projects for zoos in the Chicago area. Impressed with the strength and detail of the fabricated structures, he started making animals using some of the same techniques that were used at the zoos. All of the animals are individually hand crafted, each is an original and no two are the same. They are durable enough for exterior display, yet detailed enough for interior display. He is presently retired and resides in Fountain Hills, Arizona.
